ama hot topic in search marketing
It isn’t often an industry seminar is brought back for more runs by popular demand, but that’s the case with the AMA’s Hot Topic In Search Marketing course.

This summer’s day-long seminars in Chicago, San Francisco, and New York were so amazingly successful that the AMA’s extending the course for three more cities:

  • September 10, 2007 – Seattle
  • September 28, 2007 – Boston
  • November 2, 2007 – Chicago

I think the course worked so well for two reasons:

First, the AMA tapped top-notch presenters, who provided really excellent advice on state-of-the-art SEO and SEM.

Second, the AMA kept the seminars intentionally small, under 50 people.

Because of the class size and the tight focus of the whole day, the group bonded. Conversations and ideas threaded throughout the day, through the sessions and the breaks. Speakers referenced one another’s talks, synthesizing common ideas across the various methods of search marketing. And speakers offered on-the-fly real examples and critiques of attendees’ sites (we recommend you do this; we recommend you don’t do that; here’s why) . Very cool, very applied.

If you’re interested, do sign up early, as I bet these next three sessions will also fill quickly.
