Rant: Why does viewing a PDF through IE or FireFox cause the browser and often the desktop to come to a grinding halt for several seconds, even on a decent computer? Not sure if the problem rests w/ Adobe or with browsers, but sheesh, it’s 2006. Streaming video works perfectly in multiple formats nearly every time… why are PDFs still such a bear?
