Speakers

George Michie

As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, George helped develop RKG’s paid search management system, and has remained involved in the ongoing evolution of our proprietary platform. An acknowledged thought-leader in Paid Search Marketing he sits on Google’s SEM Advisory Council, serves as an unofficial consultant for the Bing product development team, and fields regular calls from the investment banking community.

Adam Audette

As President, Adam contributes to the strategic direction of RKG’s paid and organic search marketing services, as well as the creation of new initiatives. Adam also drives the development of proprietary SEO toolsets and business development opportunities, while overseeing client strategy. Adam has been active in the search marketing industry since 1996 and is a top rated presenter at premier industry events such as Search Marketing Expo and SMX Advanced, Searchfest, Nation Association of Government Webmasters, Search Engine Strategies, and Pubcon. He contributes regular columns for Search Engine Land and Search Engine Watch.

Frederick Vallaeys

Frederick (“Fred”) Vallaeys is a renowned expert in the online marketing field, and was an early employee at Google where he was instrumental in growing the AdWords search marketing system. Most recently, he served as Google’s AdWords Evangelist, helping advertisers learn about which Google products are best to support their marketing goals. Frederick has spoken at numerous search marketing conferences in the United States and abroad including Search Engine Strategies (SES), Search Marketing Expo (SMX), Ad:Tech, PubCon and the Online Marketing Summit (OMS).

Ed Hoffman

Ed Hoffman has over 20 years of experience in the software industry with a deep experience of the search technology sector. Ed was Senior Director for Infoseek's software unit Ultraseek, which eventually was acquired by Inktomi, then Verity, then Autonomy. In that role growing revenues of Infoseek Software / Ultraseek Corporation from the initial deal in 1997 to US $25 million annual sales into 2,500+ accounts in over 40 countries. Ed has been contributing to SLI's growth and customer satisfaction since 2004. He is currently responsible for sales, business development, channel programs and alliances globally.
Mike Moran

Mike Moran

Author of the acclaimed book on Internet marketing, Do It Wrong Quickly, on the heels of the best-selling Search Engine Marketing, Inc., Mike Moran led many initiatives on IBM's Web site for 8 years, including IBM's original search marketing strategy. Mike holds an Advanced Certificate in Market Management Practice from the Royal UK Charter Institute of Marketing, is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, and is a regular columnist for Search Engine Guide. Mike frequently keynotes conferences on Internet marketing for marketers, public relations specialists, market researchers, and technologists, and serves as Chief Strategist for Converseon, a leading digital media marketing agency. Meg Thompson

Meg Thompson

As RKG's Vice President of SEO, Meg leads account teams to ensure that best-of-breed strategies and services are implemented for RKG’s clients. Meg is responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of SEO services, and works closely with other teams on reporting and tracking results. Meg is a key contributor on the development of tools and processes, on developing industry partnerships, and on the expansion of RKG’s client services suite.
