Jim Novo

Jim Novo is an interactive customer retention, defection, and loyalty expert with nearly 25 years of experience generating exceptional returns on customer marketing program investments.

Jim is the author of “Drilling Down: Turning Customer Data into Profits with a Spreadsheet. He is also th managing Director of Education for the Web Analytics Association, creating the first college level courses focused on web analytics and the WAA Certification Test. His professional career has been focused on introducing Data-Driven marketing to new industries.

Based on his experiences and time at The Home Shopping Network, Jim has completed projects for companies like Radio Shack, Dell Computer, Barnes and Noble, CBS Sportsline and Tupperware, among others. The average ROI of Jim’s programs now stands at just over 70%, with several reaching ROI of over 400%.

Bon Mercado

Bon Mercado, an Internet Advertising Veteran has been in the Interactive Marketing world for over 12 years and has been at Google for 8 of those years. Before Google, Bon worked at Buy.com, Autobytel.com and Gamespy.com. At Google, Bon started off as an Account manager managing several verticals including Travel, Automotive and Entertainment before focusing specifically on the Finance Vertical. His clients included Experian, Countrywide, Wells Fargo, TurboTax and Trans Union to name a few. After 5 years with Finance, Bon moved over to an internal Start up Team with in Google taking on a new medium called Mobile. 3 Years later, he is glad he made that decision.

Michael McMeekin

Michael McMeekin is a Regional Manager of Search Optimization & Strategy (SOST) at Yahoo! The SOST mission is to partner with the Yahoo! sales and account management teams, bringing new, actionable, insights to drive maximum performance from Yahoo!’s search marketplace. Michael has 6 years SEM experience including both agency and search engine client services. Over the last 18 months Michael has worked closely with Microsoft to develop best practices and insights for the now combined marketplace of Yahoo! Search and Bing.

Adam Audette

Adam Audette is president and CEO of leading boutique SEO agency AudetteMedia, where he is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. Adam heads the development of partnerships, technology and business development opportunities, while overseeing high-level strategy.

Meg Thompson

As the Vice President of Client Services and co-founder at AudetteMedia, Meg Thompson leads account teams to ensure best-of-breed strategies and services are implemented for AudetteMedia’s clients. Meg is responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of SEO services, and works closely with account teams on reporting and tracking results. Meg has guided SEO strategies and online campaigns for premier brands including Gannett, AOL, Kroger, JELD-WEN, Zappos, Amazon, Crutchfield, Michelin, HSN, University of Phoenix, and Charming Shoppes.

Meg started in Internet marketing in 1998 as the Media Director for Outrider (formerly MMG), a full service Internet marketing firm, where she developed media and campaign reporting strategies for clients such as Art.com, Intel, Microsoft, and Conde Nast.

Meg holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management and a minor in Communications from Virginia Tech.

Larry Becker

Larry Becker is an e-commerce consultant and online retail veteran. Over a ten year career, Larry has worked in multi-channel retail and formerly as our colleague at RKG, proving his skills in website optimization and content development; new project launch and strategy; marketing and sales.

Today, Larry Becker serves as principal in Larry Becker Web, a consulting practice dedicated to helping marketers deliver more effective websites. In addition to helping his clients, Larry leads marketing and admissions for the MBA for Executives program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

George Michie

George Michie is Co-Founder and CEO of The Rimm-Kaufman Group. George helped develop RKG’s analytical framework, and has remained involved in the ongoing evolution of our proprietary tools. An acknowledged thought-leader in Paid Search Marketing, he sits on Google’s SEM Advisory Council.

Prior to joining RKG, George worked at Crutchfield Corporation. There he worked on the multi-channel allocation problem and helped develop Crutchfield’s early PPC bidding system.
