One Day Without Shoes at RKG

Here at RKG, in addition to successfully driving online marketing growth for countless clients, we take time to focus on community outreach and charitable efforts.  A volunteer group of employees, known as our Giving Back Committee, is in charge of seeking out worthwhile causes and rallying support for local charities, community service projects, and donations.  While heavy planning is underway for the Mac McDonald Golf Invitational, set to take place this June to benefit the UVA Children’s Hospital, today RKG employees seized the opportunity to participate in an event to bring awareness to a global issue.

TOMS One Day without Shoes (kicked off by Blake Mycoskie) is meant to spark conversation and charitable actions in support of millions of children in the world without shoes.  By taking off our shoes for one day, we had the opportunity to engage members of our community in discussion about the health risks that these children face daily.

This has been one of our most exciting efforts and a great opportunity to increase awareness for a cause we believe in.  Feel free to put your best foot forward with us and aid in education of this worldwide problem.  More facts about today’s event can be found here:  Learning More.
