GBS: Google Blinders Syndrome

Yesterday I blogged that Windows Live was stale on some smaller feeds. My unspoken assumption was that Google was not. Now, switching back and forth between Google Personalized Home and Windows Live, I now see that both provide very recent feed data for more popular feeds. For smaller blogs, sometimes MSN is days stale, and other times Google is days stale.

I had assumed Google was always fresh because, errr, … well because they’re Google.

Similar to the feared GDS malady, maybe this was an momentary attack of GBS: Google Blinders Syndrome.
