As VP of Paid Search, Rachel is responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the Paid Search department. She works closely with the PPC Directors to maintain high levels of client service, performance results and thought leadership. She also oversees the training efforts for the department and ensures excellence in adoption of new industry offerings and use of internal technologies.
Rachel joined Merkle | RKG in 2007 as a Paid Search Analyst, moving to Senior Analyst and Team Leader in 2008, and Director in 2013. In the most recent role of Director, Rachel supervised a group of Team Leaders, providing guidance on management of teams and clients, and worked closely with her fellow Directors to lead the department through planning and thought leadership. Rachel has managed and directed strategy for paid search programs for Fortune 500 and IR Top 500 companies across a variety of verticals, with extensive knowledge in the retail sector.
Rachel holds a degree in marketing from James Madison University. She guest lectures on paid search at her alma mater and assists students in the highly competitive Google Online Marketing Challenge, a Google-sponsored, worldwide AdWords competition for universities.
