As senior marketing strategy director, Kearby is responsible for leading the marketing strategy group in supporting the sales and marketing efforts of Merkle’s digital agency group. He leverages data, analytics, and technology to communicate Merkle’s world-class, performance-based approach to digital media, customer engagement, and experience development. He is also responsible for the development and delivery of integrated, cross-channel marketing strategies across multiple client service teams.
Kearby joined Merkle|RKG in 2010 as a paid search analyst, where he successfully managed $14M+ in annual spend for several Internet Retailer Top 500 advertisers. In 2011 he became a senior analyst and strategy lead, and in 2013 was promoted to marketing strategy director. In those roles, he facilitated inter-departmental collaboration and research as well as contributed to the development of industry-leading best practices and methodologies.
Kearby holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a M.S. in Commerce, both from the University of Virginia.
