As Chief Marketing Officer at Merkle|RKG, Dalton oversees all integrated marketing and PR efforts with a focus on lead generation. In this role, she also spearheads the company’s social media strategy.
Prior to joining Merkle|RKG, Dalton was the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Social Media at Havas PR and Havas Health. During this time, she uplifted the agency’s social media offering, and under her leadership, Havas has become the third most social media-savvy agency according to Socialagility. In 2012, Dalton was named “Tweeter of the Year” by PR News for her in-house social media initiatives, creative campaigns and community management programs.
Over the course of her career, Dalton has been in local, regional and global roles, based in Beijing, Singapore and NYC. While in Asia, she was the regional marketing director of Havas Worldwide Asia Pacific, and had previously worked for Ogilvy Greater China and China Central Television (CCTV). With more than a decade in China, Dalton is a mandarin speaker and has deep experience working with Chinese brands expanding abroad. Over the years, she has worked with brands such as Lenovo, Unilever, J&J, Pernod Ricard, Anna Sui and Coca-Cola.
